APPLETON, Wis. (WBAY) – Appleton Community Music announced Wednesday that supporters contributed more than $85,400 during Mile of Music Festival this year.
Appleton Community Music, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 2021, to provide fundraising support to sustain the Mile of Music festival.
The nonprofit works to raise funds in order to keep the Mile of Music festival free to attend and ensure Mile of Music Festival’s future.
They also work to raise money for fair compensation for music artists, as well as the Mile of Music Artists Hospitality and Care Program.
The Mile of Music Artist Hospitality & Artist Care Program offers artists who come to Appleton a long list of free wellness services, lodging or accommodations, food and beverage hospitality, and more.
Appleton Community Music, Inc. is responsible for raising the funds to pay festival artist fees and the costs of housing, feeding and caring for the artists who play the festival.
