Post Malone is getting into the fashion biz. After posing for a photo shoot for SKIMS, Kim Kardashian’s line of undergarments which now includes men’s items, the singer is putting his own name behind a new clothing line for men. Called Austin Post Apparel (Malone’s actual name is Austin Richard Post), the official kickoff took place in the most trend-conscious place in the world, Paris.
Per Whiskey Riff, “The juxtaposition of bringing the wild West to a classy society like Paris is rather genius. The looks are rugged yet polished, perfectly tailored, yet keeping the roots of what you’d see on the ranch.”
The Garments Reflect a Western Aesthetic and Are Super Stylish
Per the outlet via Instagram, the initial crop of outfits is titled Season One – At First Light. These snappy coordinates are for those with a cowboy sensibility coupled with a natty sense of style. There is plenty of denim here! One ensemble has a star motif on the shirt and the pants. Another looks to be less fancy and done in denim. I can imagine the characters on Yellowstone wearing clothes just like these, with lots of personality and flair.
Some of the accents include leather, fringe, and even turquoise.
Malone Emphasizes His Authenticity in Everything He Does
Per The Tennessean, Malone shared, “I’ve always just tried to make music that’s true to who I am — no matter,” Malone said. “I make what makes me happy, So to be part of something that celebrates artists for doing their own thing and pushing boundaries, that feels really special.”
He also sounds honored to be a part of the Nashville country music scene. “Nashville is just such a legendary place. The people, the countless number of amazing artists, the venues, the studios — it’s all such a perfect storm of musical history and inspiration that’s perfect for songwriting. I absolutely love it.”
The monster success of his country LP, F-1 Trillion, earned him entree into the exclusive country music inner circle. It’s likely that he will be there for a long time to come.
